Cahlan Horton, RDN

Nutrition Counselor

Cahlan grew up with a passion for food and cooking. After she met Jesus in 2009, she began to learn about her own heart and health. Jesus brought her a new value for people and their health. He began to highlight the disconnection between the body, the soul, and the emotions (or mind) and how it produces problems directly related to nutrition.

In 2014 she went back to school for nutrition in order to combine her passion for food and health. Cahlan worked for WIC (Women Infants and Children) before completing her internship to become a registered dietitian. She then became a clinical dietitian for 2 local hospitals and loved the challenge of these fast-paced environments, but knew her true calling was in nutrition counseling and education. Here she has the freedom to build relationships with her clients and partner with them towards their long-term goals.

Services:

Meal planning: starting at $50/ weekly plan

Customized meal planning for individual goals including weight loss, general healthy eating, diabetes management, and more. The client will have the option to work with the dietitian on a customized meal plan or have her choose one.

Practical Application Appointments: $90/60 minutes

Haven nutrition counseling offers flexible and unique options for nutrition education. A Practical Application Appointment will be tailored to individual clients.
